About Us
BookkeepingCenter, Inc was founded in 2001 by certified bookkeeper & certified QuickBooks
Advisor, Manny Colon. Prior to founding the company, Manny worked as a part-time
QuickBooks teacher for Professional Technologies Institute (PTI) where he taught small
business owners and unemployed bookkeepers how to master QuickBooks. Manny held a
second part-time job as a bookkeeper for a consulting firm in the financial district while he
provided QuickBooks consulting services to small businesses on the side.
Manny's love for bookkeeping and joy of working with small business owners led him to
incorporate BookkeepingCenter with the mission of providing professional bookkeeping
services to small businesses in Manhattan on a part-time basis.
